Fundraising

Update

Since September 2009 the Pre-School has raised £704 which will increase to £1,013 when matched by Vodafone under their matched fundraising scheme.  This will go a long way to purchasing new and replacing old equipment for the pre-school.  However there is always more needed and your help and support as always is much appreciated.

Cake Sale 12 February 2010.

Our first fundraising event of this term is a cake sale outside the Pre-School at 2.45 and then Falkland School gates at 3.15pm on the Friday 12^th February. These events are always popular with the school children and their families so can we please ask all you parents for cake donations. Cakes can be large or small as we can sell them individually (fairy cakes etc), in batches or as large whole cakes.

 
Volunteers are also needed to help on the stalls from 2.45pm until approximately 3.45pm. Please put your name on the notice board if you are able to supply cakes and/or help on the day. Cakes should be brought to Pre-School on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th please.

Future Events

We aim to do at least 3 fundraising events a term and this term hope to hold another shopping event during March (confirmation will follow) and the Easter Parade n Tuesday March 30^th.  Details for these will be notified soon.

During the Summer term we are planning a Dad’s Saturday, when Dad’s get to attend a session with their child or children and find out what goes on at Pre-School. This will be one Saturday in May. We will also be holding a Garden Party/Fun Day to celebrate the completion of the Pre-school out door play area. This will be on a Saturday afternoon in June or July.   Confirmation of the dates will be notified shortly.

Calling all Vodafone Employees

 If any parents or carers work for Vodafone could you please let either Lorraine or any committee members know if you would be willing to take part in their matched fundraising scheme?

In addition, if you work for another organization that supports employees with local fundraising projects please let us know so that we can maximise any opportunities.
